Transition Research and Strategy
The transition is unprecedented. We expect 10–15 years of dynamic, interdisciplinary and evolving change. THQ will be continuously monitoring and evolving tools and practices for the New Zealand context.
TRANSITION MOSAIC PROJECT
A national-scale best practice platform for transition.
The Transition Mosaic incorporates leading academic research into the design and development of a transition learning platform, focusing on wellbeing, ecosystems and partnering – New Zealand designed and developed.
We are considering expressions of interest for development partners and a full prospectus will be available in 2021.
Our research into the what is happening around the world and here in New Zealand provides a foundation for transitions across New Zealand.
Foresight and insights are included in continuous updates in our consulting practice and THQ Learning Journeys.
STRATEGY INTO COMMUNITY ACTION
Research and capability development into the techniques, tools, processes required to generate consistent and continuous community level transition action.
Building trust and engagement with communities around what matters to them is a critical part of the transition. Large scale transition of modern communities is an evolving field.
TRANSITION RISK RESEARCH
We believe the 2020’s will continue to be volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous
Climate change, large scale carbon emissions reductions, new legislation, the Covid economy and ongoing change in society and government are creating an evolving environment with increasing levels of risk and opportunity. Being at the forefront of Transition we are able to offer unique perspectives.
